Cane Creek String Band is Charleston’s only Traditional Appalachian old time string band (that we know of) in the area. A high energetic, talented new group made up of 5 local Charleston Musicians who have a combined music experience of over 60 years. They are spreading the rich in history sound of Old Time Appalachian Music through the low country with strong instrumental work, singing ,and hard driving foot stomping rhythm. If you enjoy bands like the “Carolina Chocolate Drops” this is the same genre of music.

The band specializes in private functions, weddings, and large events. Perfect for everything from a two or three piece playing old traditional plantation/civil war period pieces, to an oyster roast with your friends or a full on foot stomping party Cane Creek is the band for your private or special event!
